Please join us for a remembrance ceremony in honor of recently deceased board member Elizabeth “Betsy” Giles on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Amherst Street Metro Rail
Station (street level near the Amherst Street entrance) at 10am.
Betsy was a tireless transit advocate dedicating many hours advocating for public transit and for Buffalo’s East Side. She represented Citizens for Regional Transit at the NFTA’s Citizens Advisory Committee for many years. A plaque and new bench at the station she used most will be unveiled. Please join us.
